Volleyball Ball
Volleyballs for Playing Competitive Volleyball
Here are some brutal reviews of volleyball balls.
Mikasa VFC-200
Mikasa VFC-200
is an outstanding volleyball.
This
Mikasa volleyball has a technology that helps keep it round. This technology is
called True Shape Retention.
This volleyball ball has a great touch and
feel. The little less forgiving this ball has makes it a great volleyball
practice drill ball.
This ball really allows you to serve tough floaters.
This Mikasa ball isn't the best because it seems to be a little less forgiving than the other
volleyballs.
The adhesive on the ball panels is very strong and the cloth layer
is thinner than other volleyballs. The Mikasa's leather outer shell is much thinner and stiffer than the other balls.
Wilson 6000LE
The
Wilson 6000LE
has good durability soft feel and strong construction.
The
negatives of this ball include potential valve problems, and bladder isn't suspended.
What probably sets this ball apart from it's competition is its durability. The
ball also still looks like new after several weeks of play. the Wilson
volleyball looks almost as new as the first day. Wilson indoor volleyballs have
had a history of having poor needle valves. Wilson's are known for the needle
valve deforming the valve may begin to bulge on one side after six weeks or so.
Tachikara SV-5W Gold
Tachikara SV-5W Gold
has premium leather construction, and floating bladder.
The
downside to the Tachikara SV-5W Gold is the leather gets a worn look quickly
and the price is fairly expensive.
The Tachikara SV-5W Gold has long been
used by volleyball players from around the world.
This ball has an awesome feel
to it with a very forgiving suspended bladder that allows for better passing control and a
good feel in any setter's hands.
The only real complaint is the quick wear down of the leather exterior.
The result of the quickly degrading appearance of the ball will also increase the softness and playability of the ball.
Ichiban 5L-ST
The Ichiban 5L-ST is a good floater ball, has a soft feel, and is durable.
The Ichiban 5L-ST
is less forgiving and the leather tends to turn stiff after using for awhile.
With that said, this ball is a nice alternative to the other great volleyballs.
It’s a little unforgiving when it comes to passing but allows for a great
floater serve.
The durability of this volleyball ball is along the same
caliber of the Tachikara volleyballs. The ball tends to get a little harder at
around week five of use and may even call for a lower PSI when inflating. This
is overall a nice volleyball and it's worth checking out.
Molten Camp Ball Recreation Volleyball
Molten Camp Ball Recreation Volleyball This camp volleyball is a great choice
because of its quality and price.
